Under Data Protection legislation the Trustees of The Seedsowing Network are the Data Controller and Steve Price acts as our Data Protection Officer.
We are collecting this information to enable the charity to keep in touch with you and process donations and gift aid claims with HMRC. Data Protection legislation allows us to process this information as we regard it as being in the charity’s legitimate interest.
Your name and contact details will be entered into our charity database which is held on a computer which is password protected and accessed only by Steve Price and Ellen Price. We do not share any data with any other organisations.
Your contact details will be removed from the database at your request, but we will retain gift aid declarations for 6 years to comply with statute of limitations should any of our Gift Aid Claims be challenged.
We would like to record your name and contact details so that we can send you newsletters by post and email. You can ask for your details to be removed at any time.
You have the right to ask to see any information we hold about you by submitting a ‘Subject Access Request’ to the Data protection officer. You also have the right to ask for information which you believe to be incorrect to be rectified.
